Mixing
Settings.Secure.ALLOW_MOCK_LOCATION always returns 1 even mock setting is Off in Android 4.2.2
I'm developing an app that detect location is mock or not. I used below code to detect it:

if (Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= Build.VERSION_CODES.JELLY_BEAN_MR2) {
if (location.isFromMockProvider())
obj.IsMockLocation = "true";
else
obj.IsMockLocation = "false";
} else {
if (isMockSettingsON(context))
obj.IsMockLocation = "true";
else
obj.IsMockLocation = "false";
}
}
public static boolean isMockSettingsON(Context context) {
if (Settings.Secure.getString(context.getContentResolver(), Settings.Secure.ALLOW_MOCK_LOCATION).equals("0"))
return false;
else
return true;
}
well its working fine in most of my test devices from android version 4.2 to version 8.1 systems, until one user said i don't use any mock location apps and he said has not Developer Options in settings but he sent true fake location flag to server. The Android version of user is 4.2.2. Can i enable mock location in another way in settings? What is my Problem code? Is it possible, mock location is off in settings or not enable developer options but isMockSettinsON return true?
