How to create own new parameter in ossec.conf file. e.g id
I have ossec.conf file,within that file
<localfile>
<log_format>syslog</log_format>
<id>101</id>
<command>This is a string not a file</command>
</localfile>
i have created id para. But when i compile ossec, i get error saying
"ossec-logcollector(1230): ERROR: Invalid element in the configuration: 'id'."
so i want to create id para and when command string gets print it should show "string and id" of the ossec.conf file.
