grafana dashboard showing moments of no connecton

I rcently just setup Prometheus/node_exporter/mysqld_exporter with grafana, and noticed that the dashboards shows something that seems like lost connections to the DB. Not sure if this is what it means, but can somebody try to help me understand what potentially happened between 1:30pm to 16:30pm based on the attached dashboard screenshots:

mysql system overview

InnoDB Metrics

The monitoring system is setup to monitor three nodes in a Percona XtraDB Cluster (mySQL) environment.

Any suggestions what those dips mean?
