How to manipulate a downloaded file with Kotlin JS
How can I access the raw bytes of a binary file downloaded using Kotlin JS?
I have downloaded my file using XHR as follows:
req.open("GET", "http://server.com/file")
req.onreadystatechange = fun(event) {
if (req.readyState.toInt() == 4) {
req.response?.let {
if (it is String) {
// cannot do it.toByteArray()
}
}
}
}
req.send()
String.toByteArray()
is not available for Javascript. So how can I access the raw bytes of a downloaded file, preferably as a ByteArray
?
