Mixing
Kinect v2 IR pixel format
I am using PyKinectV2 and trying to make sense of the IR data coming out - each pixel is 16 bits but I can't find any references anywhere as to how many bits are actually used? I thought I recalled from somewhere it was 11 bits but looking at a histogram now I have a range from 0 to around 40k plus a peak at 0xffff which I'd like to know how to interpret correctly?
