Overcoming latency in Cloud
We have a situation where we are expecting cross region access networl latency which is expected i guess.
Our application is a cloud file transfer application which is deployed on multiple data centers. Customer generally keeps his data on one of the data center and has his users access the data across the continents.
In my research i think only way to improve the network latency is having more data centers and more importantly more CDN POPs.
Another option is to have a centralised storage .
But having a centralised storage which will keep syncing data between multiple data centers will not be an option since there will be n number of data centers. Doing this will not be performant, will require huge processing ,not scalable and the data will go out of sync.
Is there any other way through application can improve the network latency ?
Best Regards,
