Scalability issue with Firebase Firestore and Function

0

I have a managing employees time system for companies. The system is already in production.
I am experiencing a scalability problem, which I did not find solutions on documentation.

I need to get and update a collection by adding multiple documents daily to maintain the consistency of our data in Firestore. I have created a Cloud Function that runs daily, but we found a scalability issue with memory and timeout, since our data is larger then the limit of the function.

This link bellow just help with counters, but is not the issue
https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/solutions/counters

  • "Questions seeking debugging help ("why isn't this code working?") must include the desired behavior, a specific problem or error and the shortest code necessary to reproduce it in the question itself. Questions without a clear problem statement are not useful to other readers. See: How to create a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example."
