eliminate special character from JSON Object field value, Sending from server to client
I have written API in node.js using express framework to pass the user details to client, it includes the username and paasword in it, password value contains some special character like(,",,) when sending over http protocol it adding special character into password value, below is the pattern it sending when we test api from postman
app.get('/', function(req, res){
var pwd = "YXXv814mK\5w84+9}7`"gXXXXXX4O+DG";
var username = "user";
var result = {};
result.username = username;
result.passwd = pwd;
res.send(result);
})
After executing the above API and when we test it from POSTMAN we are getting below Out put
{
"username": "user",
"passwd": "YXXv814mK\5w84+9}7`"gXXXXXX4O+DG"
}
User should not see the escape character from the password field, so user can see the actual passwd field(YXXv814mK5w84+9}7`"gXXXXXX4O+DG).
Need help in passing the json object without adding the escape character into passwd filed.
