How to move files in C programming? (movefiles())
I'm trying to open the Start folder, search for all the files there, and move them to another folder, how can i do to save the "file" parameter to use movefile() function?
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <sys/types.h>
#include <dirent.h>
#include <windows.h>
BOOL MoveFile( LPCTSTR lpExistingFileName, LPCTSTR lpNewFileName);
int main()
{
DIR *dir;
struct dirent *ent;
dir = opendir ("C:/Users/Start/");
while ((ent = readdir (dir)) != NULL)
{
MoveFile(????, "C:/Users/Destiny/"); //how?
}
closedir (dir);
return 0;
}

You need to use the opened directory name (C:/Users/Start/
— but you need that in a variable so you can use it more than once without writing the value out more than once) and the file read from it to create the path for the source file — string concatenation. Then you call the function.
