Polylang : String translations in Wordpress Customizer

0

I am using "Soledad" theme for my website. Website is in English and German, I am using Polylang plugin.

I would like to know how can I translate the strings that I enter in the customizer of this theme. For example, there is a field in customizer where I can add custom string to appear after a post, "Continue reading" in case of English. How can I translate this to German.

I donot get this string in Polylang - languages - Strings as it is mentioned in the customizer for the theme. I also tried "Polylang Strings themes" but it doesnot work.

I have already tried to add it in function.php as mentioned online but it didnt work.

I would really appreciate any help in this regard.
