Webhook design with JAVA for Actions on Google and Dialogflow v2
I am new to #AoG and I am trying to marry this feature to an application I have. I have designed the conversation and enabled the webhook url for fulfillment.
My Webhook is a SpringBoot war which tries to map the Webhook request to my API and send a Webhook response.
I am using Dialogflow v2 and in my SpringBoot app I import:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>google-cloud-dialogflow</artifactId>
<version>0.71.0-alpha</version>
</dependency>
I am not sure if this is the right library or how to design the controller. So far I have:
@RestController
public class WebhookController {
@RequestMapping(value = "/map", method = RequestMethod.POST, consumes = MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE, produces = MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE)
@ResponseStatus(value = HttpStatus.OK)
public WebhookResponse mapRequest(@RequestBody WebhookRequest request) throws IOException {
System.out.println(request);
return ...;
}
The documentation I've seen is not the most helpful because they do not have a how-to for JAVA.
