JavaFX FilterableTreeItem: How to expand nodes in TreeView to show results on filtered items with...
I have a small program that has a TreeView with nodes till depth 3. The nodes are all of the type FilterableTreeItem.
I have above the TreeView a textfield to filter items in the TreeView using root.predicateProperty().bind(Bindings.createObjectBinding...
The filtering works fine, but when the result of the filtering is situated at level 3 it only shows the node at the top level. So to see the result the user must click on the nodes to reveal the result.
Is there no way to automatically expand the nodes until the level of the result?
See image below. The filter is kel. The result is somewhere in both of the shown items but not expanded.

You can walk up or down theTreeItem
hierarchy and callsetExpanded(true)
on each branch. If that doesn't work for you please edit your question to add a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example.
