NodeJs Reading XLSX file from server, edit one sheet and download at client side

Main purpose is to read and Excel File from server dir, edit it at backend (one sheet) and download at client side.

i have the following code. seems that i'm doing something wrong.a hind would be appreciated

    import { Workbook } from 'exceljs';



const downloadExcel = async (ctx) => {

    const workbook = new Workbook();

        workbook.xlsx.readFile('C://MyExcel.xlsx')

            .then(() => {

                console.log(workbook.worksheets);

            });

};
