Mixing
OptimisticConcurrencyException not raising
It looks that OptimisticConcurrencyException not raising.
catch (OptimisticConcurrencyException)
{
this.currentContext.Refresh(RefreshMode.ClientWins, currentContext.User);
this.currentContext.SaveChanges();
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
MessageBox.Show(ex.Message, "Error saving changes");
this.currentContext.Refresh(RefreshMode.StoreWins, schoolContext.User);
}
Last change always wins which is wrong. If I have 2 instances running at the same time, then the last modified user always overwrites the earlier change.
The correct behavior should be to keep the earlier change.
Did you guys experience any similar issue ?
