React ssr Socket is disconnecting every route change
I have a React component that deals with all socket.io things.
I puted that component in the big layout compnent, so it will be avialble for all of the app.
In the socket component, i have this code:
componentWillUnmount() {
alert('disconnectes')
this.socket.off('message', this.handleMessage)
this.socket.close()
}
the thing is' that every time I change route, the layout renders again, and the socket is disconnected.
What can I do to not disconnect the socket every time?
