Core Data Crashing The App While Passing Data To Another View Controller

0

Please Check the below code I am using to fetch the data from core data, and passing that data to another viewcontroller. After dismissing the view controller its giving "memory did deallocated" message and app is getting crashed.

//Fetch Data From Core Data
let newsFetchRequest : NSFetchRequest<News> = News.fetchRequest()

do {
let news = try PersistenceService.context.fetch(newsFetchRequest)
self.newsList = news
}
catch {

}

//By using below code I am sending one record from coredata to another view
let detailVC = UIStoryboard(name: "Main", bundle: nil).instantiateViewController(withIdentifier: "NewsDetailVC") as! NewsDetailVC
detailVC.news = newsList[indexPath.row]
present(detailVC, animated: true, completion: nil)

//In another view controller I simply did get one variable instance of the News entity
var news = News()

  • Could you clarify on which thread do you execute the fetch and how/what are you passing to your "another" view controller?
