MediaWiki send includeonly tag to parent
I want a page that has a nice infobox but also I can include the page on a summary page elsewhere and only a table row will come from the page. So basically, when I include the infobox template, I want it to send back the infobox obviously, but also send back an tag which is not interpreted but which becomes part of the page including the template - so when that page is included by a summary page, only that part shows. Put more clearly, here's a page
== All About Bob ==
{{:template:Person
|name = Bob
}}
So that template should put some infobox on my all about bob page, but it should also put something like this: Bob into the All About Bob page - so when the People page includes the All About Bob page (amongst many others) the people page only gets "Bob" from the All About Bob page.
I hope that makes some sense.

You might want to look into semantic data extensions like Semantic MediaWiki or Cargo.
