npm on centos7 shows error: SELF_SIGNED_CERT_IN_CHAIN

I am currently trying to install searchkit for centos7. So this is what I do:




npm install searchkit --save




And this is the error message I get:




npm ERR! code SELF_SIGNED_CERT_IN_CHAIN npm ERR! errno
SELF_SIGNED_CERT_IN_CHAIN npm ERR! request to
https://registry.npmjs.org/searchkit failed, reason: self si

gned certificate in certificate chain




I am using a Proxy and I set strict-ssl to false. Here are my settings. I tried a lot and I have no idea how to continue from here on. I am totally new to npm and node so I really ned some help
