How to control hololens from microservice endpoints

Hi I am newbie or may be I understood hololens device portal in a wrong way.
My goal is to control hololens device (For example reboot) from a web microservices instead of hololens device portal.



The issue that I am facing at the moment is What is best way to send commands to hololens device through microservice.




  1. My microservice (coded in nodejs) is up and runing at location A

  2. My hololens device is up and runing at location B. To access the device portal I mapped my network ip with hololens ip and set port no in firewall settings as well, which actually allow me to access device portal from other network but I still cant reboot or perform simple operation on hololens device through my microservice endpoints while through device portal interface I can do.

          1 I tried to upgrade a yummy sandwich made of two test slices (@JsonTest and @JdbcTest in my case, crunchy test code in between) adding spring boot 2.1 flavour to it.
