Magento 1.9.1.0 Patch SUPEE-10415 causes error cannot add the item to shopping cart

I have a magento 1.9.1.0 site with the following patches installed:




  • 5344

  • 5994

  • 6237

  • 6285

  • 6482

  • 6788

  • 7616

  • 7405

  • 8167

  • 8788

  • 8967

  • 9652

  • 9767

  • 10266


After installing SUPEE-10415 patch I can no longer add items to cart - I get the message "Cannot add the item to shopping cart". Not from the catalog page or the product view page.



When I revert the patch then the add to cart works fine again.



I've checked the error, exceptions and system logs and there's nothing.



Does anyone know what the problem might be?
I'd appreciate any help.
