How to Graph Python and imported R code in Ubuntu

0

I need to reproduce a plot from this website http://rpy.sourceforge.net/rpy2/doc-2.3/html/introduction.html in Ubuntu.

Here is the code that I am running in my python Ubuntu terminal:

`import math, datetime`

`import rpy2.robjects.lib.ggplot2 as ggplot2`

`import rpy2.robjects as ro`

`from rpy2.robjects.packages import importr`

`base = importr('base')`

`mtcars = datasets.__rdata__.fetch('mtcars')['mtcars']`

`pp = ggplot2.ggplot(mtcars) +
ggplot2.aes_string(x='wt', y='mpg', col='factor(cyl)') +
ggplot2.geom_point() +
ggplot2.geom_smooth(ggplot2.aes_string(group = 'cyl'),
method = 'lm')`

`pp.plot()`

The issue coming up is that it says that
"NotImplementedError: Conversion 'py2ri' not defined for objects of type
'<class 'pandas.core.frame.DataFrame'>' "

Any help would be appreciated!
