How can I use my own logger with custom log records in Postsharp?

0

In Postsharp I can write my own logger adapter with which I can easily integrate my own logger class. In our class we have our own logger provider classe. Different categoriers of logger can be requested by the provider not only one. In the normal implementation, a static logger instance is used. We end up with a separate logger instance for each instance. Improves the testability with Unittest and logging each instance in a separated file. How can I rebuild the LogAspect to work with my own logger provider class with a non-static instance? In the net there are different examples how I build my own LogAspect. But I do not want to make everything new. Is there a solution?

Static Logger

Sample for own LogAspect

  • The logging framework in the current version of PostSharp (6.0) caches the logger instances based on the namespace and type name. This behavior cannot be disabled or overridden. Please consider filing a feature request for a future version on our support page postsharp.net/support
