I have defined a shadow template as follows: <table id="overviewbox-loadingbox"> <thead> <tr> <slot name="table-header"></slot> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <div id="loadingbox"></div> </tbody> </table> The users are supposed to supply their own <th> s by something like: <th slot="table-header" data-column_name="description">describing here</th> However this doesn't work. As soon as I change <th> to <span> , with all other things unchanged, the slotted node shows up. Is this because there is some undocumented quirks about using <th> and <slot> together? Thanks.

There is a particle moving along the $x$ -axis at any time $t geq 0$ . The velocity of this particle is given by $$v(t) = cos(πt) - t(6-2pi).$$ I am supposed to find the particle's minimum velocity over the interval $[0,2]$ . I found the derivative of this velocity function and set it equal to zero, but I am having trouble with getting the right answer. I used the option on my calculator to find the min, but I can’t seen to find it using calculus. Help is greatly appreciated!

In the edit text, the user should select whether what they type should be bold or italics or normal. In my case when a user selects bold the entire edit text changes to bold and if he again selects italics the entire edit text becomes italics. When the user selects bold types something, it should be bold and when he selects italics or normal the words that he types after that should be italics or normal, not the previous one which is bold. also when I print the input in edit text it is printed as normal even it is given as bold. I have my code at the bottom <EditText android:id="@+id/check_edittext" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:hint="check" /> this is where I have set the edit text to...
