How to implement content-based breakpoints in responsive web design?
Content-based is recommended instead of using device size based breakpoints.
Let's say that a website is form of multiple pages, and the content on each page is not equalled. Thus, every single page would require a different set of breakpoints. With that being said, for a site of 500 pages with 2 or more breakpoints per page, that would add up to a total of 1000 to 1500 or even more breakpoints. That is a great deal of CSS, and that would be no easy tasks to update the site.
So, how content-based breakpoints is implemented?
Using this approach, is there a way that the same breakpoints are used across pages of a site?
I appreciate your help.
Thank you
