If you want to show only specific categories you should also not retrieve the categories you do not want to see from the database at all. Imagine if you had 100 products and only 5 had the category you wanted to see. If you filter on the view/html then you have to get 100 records from the database even though you are only using 5! It's much better to only get 5 if you only need 5. I would say the filtering needs to be done in the database query. If you post your current query I will try update the answer to include that.
The code above produces a view for all six categories i have ( a view like buttons) and when i click one category it shows the related products. where in current status it shows me all the products. i am looking for a way to retrieve specific category when i click on it. i mean i should have one link to click on and it should show me the related products. i do not want @foreach there.

I think if you want to show a view for products of a specific category you should do the filtering in your database query so that only products with the category you want will show up.

But i am currently doing it in the view, but the problem is that i get all categories. and when i click a filter button then i receive the category. but i do not want all those buttons, i only want a specific category which i have defined in my view.

If you want to show only specific categories you should also not retrieve the categories you do not want to see from the database at all.
