AzureDevOps - customise Resharper code analysis task
I'm trying out the Resharper Code Analysis task on a build in AzureDevOps. Works well - it's like running Resharper locally, only on the code build! Actually, it's working too well....
I have created some extension classes in my code. String/int extensions and to make them easy to use, I've matched the base namespace of the type e.g.
namespace System {
public static class StringExtensions {
// code here...
}
}
These are (rightly so) being picked up by Resharper during my build and giving me the error:
2018-11-19T14:40:13.5892634Z
##[warning]srcAppExtensionsStringExtensions.cs(1,1): warning : R# Namespace does not correspond to file location, should be: 'App'
I want to disable this during build as I actually want to keep this as is. I generated a App.csproj.DotSettings which has this inside:
<wpf:ResourceDictionary xml:space="preserve" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:s="clr-namespace:System;assembly=mscorlib" xmlns:ss="urn:shemas-jetbrains-com:settings-storage-xaml" xmlns:wpf="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation">
<s:Boolean x:Key="/Default/CodeInspection/NamespaceProvider/NamespaceFoldersToSkip/=extensions/@EntryIndexedValue">True</s:Boolean></wpf:ResourceDictionary>
(note the extensions live in side an extensions folder, that's why you see "folders to skip=extensions" in the setting.
BUT it doesn't make any difference during build. Anyone any idea how to get the build to pickup these custom settings definition file?
Thanks in advance!
