How can I trigger a debugger action inside the popup of a chrome extension?
Currently I am making a chrome extension to record all network requests of each URL that I visit. For that I have created a popup inside that I have given action from a switch button, it records the data as well but the problem is that the console window of the popup is also needed to opened (always). I want to make it without opening that console.
(NOTE: browser console may be opened but not the popup's console).
Can anyone help me with this?

The browserAction popup is running only when shown. This is how extensions work by design. You need a background script where you can observe the navigation and store the data in chrome.storage.local so when the popup is shown it can read the storage and present the data.
