UserControl Design error, during runtime everything work perfectly

0

When i drag and drop my usercontrol and change my property ComponentType, he cant find the method ComponentLogicFactory.CreateInstance(_ComponentType). When i rebuild or build the compiler doesnt show any errors, when i run the simulation everything works fine. I looked to the awnsers
WinForm designer error open designer but non did it for me i have a default constructor. I'm not using singletons or any variable thats set at run time. What could be the reason for this?

 public ComponentTypes ComponentType
{
get
{
return this._ComponentType;
}
set
{
if(component == null)
{
_ComponentType = value;
component = ComponentDesignFactory.CreateInstance(_ComponentType);
if (!DesignMode)
{
logicChip = ComponentLogicFactory.CreateInstance(_ComponentType);
}

if(NumberInputPins > component.MaxInput)
{
this.NumberInputPins = component.MaxInput;
}
if(NumberOutputPins > component.MaxOutput)
{
this.NumberOutputPins = component.MaxOutput;
}
RepositionComponent();
gridPanel.Controls.Add(component);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("You can only change this once");
}
}
}

private static readonly IDictionary<ComponentTypes, Func<IComponent>> Creator =
new Dictionary<ComponentTypes, Func<IComponent>>()
{
{ ComponentTypes.And, () => new AndLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.Or, () => new OrLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.Not, () => new NotLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.Led, () => new LedLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.On, () => new OnLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.Off, () => new OffLogic() },
{ ComponentTypes.Clock, () => new ClockLogic() },
};

public static IComponent CreateInstance(ComponentTypes typeComponent)
{
return Creator[typeComponent]();
}

  • Can you try re-posting using more detail? When you wrote "When i change my property ComponentType during design time", what does that mean? How are you changing the property at design time?
