How to config ‘base’ and ‘remote’ in nbdiff-web viewer used with TortoiseGit?
I am using nbdiff-web.exe as a diff viewer tool in TortoiseGit for notebooks. After I added “nbdiff-web.exe %base %mine” configuration for files with .ipynb extension to TortoiseGit Settings ->Diff Viewer, a file I am choosing to diff shows up as a ‘remote’ and a file I am diffing against as a ‘base’.
The title ‘remote’ is extremely confusing if I am comparing two versions of the same file in my local repo. Any way I can change this? Can I include more detailed information on files and revisions I compare? Is this a limitation of nbdime or TortoiseGit, or both? TIA.
python jupyter-notebook tortoisegit difftool
