Jenkins SVN checkout/update creating a directory on the disk with @2 appended to the end

0

So i have multiple projects running fine and building in Jenkins without any issues.

Lets say everything gets checked out to D:MyProjects on my disk by Jenkins and the projects in Jenkins run an SVN Update on this and then build if there are changes.

Occasionally for some unknown reason Jenkins will create a D:MyProjects@2 directory. The build then fails because D:MyProjects@2 doesnt contain all the checkout, it only contains the current project checkout.

Why is Jenkins creating this @2 directory?

I suspect it is due to multiple builds occurring a the same time so I just reduced the number of executors from 2 to 1. Lets see if that sorts it out.
