fork() system call is blocked, application hang-up/unresponsive
I have developed a simple test program(which forks a child process and child logs debug message, and the same applies to parent).
the program uses AUTOSAR dlt to log debug messages.
When the above program is compiled to target build environment say Target 1 and executed, the program gets hangup/unresponsive.
On debugging the issue, it seems fork() system call is blocked(not returned).
i am not able to understand what went wrong, below is the strack trace
mprotect(0xffffb15b7000, 4096, PROT_READ) = 0
munmap(0xffffb27cc000, 17638) = 0
getpid() = 27338
tgkill(27338, 27339, SIGRTMIN) = 0
getpid() = 27338
tgkill(27338, 27340, SIGRTMIN) = 0
futex(0xffffb25ba2c0, FUTEX_WAIT, 27339, NULL) = ? ERESTARTSYS (To be restarted if SA_RESTART is set) < -- next call should be clone(), but not called
It seems that clone() is not called from the Linux kernel to spawn the child process. Can any one guide me on this ??
but when the same sample program is un-linked with shared library(autosar dlt) the child process is forked and completed successfully.
the same sample program along with shared dlt library linked was executed on different target environment, the program executed and completed as expected.

Your strace shows that thefork
orclone
is not even reached, because if it had been called, it would appear. So your program blocks beforehand.
