Google Analytics API - For loop gives Index error

0

I am trying out the Google Analytics APi v4 via Python3. I have more than 30 queries which I want to request. As I understand, I can only request 5 queries at once via reports.batchGet().

So I had put the request function inside a for loop which gives

Error: tuple index out of range httplib2.

However if I call the request for each query(5 at once) one at a time manually, I am able to get the response, without any error. Putting it inside loop gives the error. Please help!

Code from : https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/v4/quickstart/service-py

def get_report(analytics,arguements):
"""Queries the Analytics Reporting API V4.

Args:
analytics: An authorized Analytics Reporting API V4 service object.
Returns:
The Analytics Reporting API V4 response.
"""
return analytics.reports().batchGet(
body={
'reportRequests': [
{
'viewId': VIEW_ID,
'dateRanges': [{'startDate': '7daysAgo', 'endDate': 'today'}],
'metrics': [{'expression': 'ga:sessions'}],
'dimensions': [{'name': 'ga:country'}]
},{...},{...},{...}] # Assume batched request
}
).execute()

  for loop
        # Assume I changed the query by passing arguements
        response = get_report(analytics,arguements)

The above code doesnt work! Why ?

EDIT:
Error is :

  File "C:Usersuser-exampleAppDataLocalContinuumanaconda3libsite-packageshttplib2__init__.py", line 1511, in _conn_request
e.args[0].errno if isinstance(e.args[0], socket.error) else e.errno

IndexError: tuple index out of range
