how to identify the active window in an application invoked with a shortcut key
Under Windows 10 I wrote an application to change the active keyboard layout. This app is invoked with a shortcut key (e.g. Ctrl + Alt + K). After doing what I do, I want to return the focus to the window which was active before hitting the shortcut key.
GetFocus(), GetActiveWindow() or GetForegroundWindow() do not help since they return a handle to the task bar window.
I can get the handles of all top level windows using EnumDesktopWindows() but I don't know how to pinpoint the last one in focus within that list.
