What exactly happens or goes wrong when you go over the UDP size of 65507 for a datagram?

0

What exactly happen to datagrams larger than 65507? Do they not get sent? Do they get sent but most likely will get lost or partially arrive? Is it even safe to have a UDP server receive packets over 65507?

Right now I only trust the 65507 but was just curious if it's possible to go over that and still deliver datagrams.

Windows 7 64 bit Home
8gb RAM
AMD chipset
Quadcore 3.0 ghz
