Template matching and update
I need help with my script, i am trying to find a way to update the template dimension.
After the template is defined for the first time, in each successive frame the script will correlate the template with a search window, if the max correlation is in a certain range, the template will be updated using the coordinate of the max correlation point as center. The problem states when the intruder changes its size, how can I allow the script to follow the size of the intruder?
Following is the code part:
...
[TWr TWc] = size(templatewindow);
[Tr Tc] = size(template);
corr_temp = normxcorr2(template,templatewindow);
corr_temp = imcrop(corr_temp,[Tc Tr TWc TWr]);
max_corr_temp(i) = max(max(corr_temp));
[tr tc tv] = find(corr_temp == max(max(corr_temp)));
if (max_corr_temp(i) < 0.80) && (max_corr_temp(i) > 0.725)
lim_r = tr+Tr;
lim_c = tc+Tc;
nometemplate=['template',num2str(i_firm)];
if lim_r > TWr
lim_r = TWr;
end
if lim_c> TWc
lim_c = TWc;
end
template = templatewindow(tr:lim_r,tc:lim_c);
assignin('base',(nometemplate),template);
...
In this way the dimension of the template doesn't follow the dimension of the intruder. Any suggestion?
