Cannot set headers after they are sent to the client only after ERROR after 5 retries
I have backend server which is handle some callback and I want to set a cookie for the client then redirect the user to my Reactjs client side, but I dont know why this works for 5 times only, then this will throw an error message:"Error [ERR_HTTP_HEADERS_SENT]: Cannot set headers after they are sent to the client... at D:....callback.js:10:13
"
My code:
const express = require('express');
const router = express.Router();
router.get('/callback', catchAsync(async (req, res) => {
const farFuture = new Date(new Date().getTime() + (1000*60*60*24*365*5)); // ~5y
if(req.headers.cookie.includes("cookie")){
console.log("cookie already set")
}else{
res.cookie('cookie', { //!!!LINE 10!!!
data: "data..."
}, {expires: farFuture})
}
res.redirect('http://someurl:3000');
return res.end()
}));
node.js express cookies callback response
