False “Duplicate Code Found” in IntelliJ Ultimate 2018.3
I've made a copy of one of the Java classes in IntelliJ (e.g. Spring converter, to save time as the content is very similar), renamed it and then changed the content of the file and rebuilt the project. However IntelliJ still highlights half of the class as duplicate code even though I know it is not the case. I have tried invalidating the cache and restarting IntelliJ but the problem isn't going away. I'm using Lombok java library in my project and suspect that it maybe causing this confusion.
I would appreciate if someone can confirm if this is a known issue and if I should be disabling automatic code duplication analysis in IntelliJ?
Thanks

Can you show your code? Maybe still some common code can be extracted? You might also be interested in jetbrains.com/help/idea/code-duplication-analysis-settings.html.
