NUVOTON ARM - NUC 140XX - Error invalid operands to binary *

0

I've got error message in NUVOTON NUC 140** when I tried to build this code:

  int main (void)
{
int i = 0
UNLOCKREG();
DrvSYS_SetOscCtrl(E_SYS_XTL12M, 1);
DrvSYS_Delay(5000);
DrvSYS_SelectHCLKSource(0);
LOCKREG();
DrvSYS_SetClockDivider(E_SYS_HCLK_DIV, 0);

The error is located in NUC1xx.h which define as below:

     #define UNLOCKREG(x)        *((__IO uint32_t *)(GCR_BASE + 0x100)) =
0x59;*((__IO uint32_t *)(GCR_BASE + 0x100)) = 0x16;*((__IO uint32_t *)
(GCR_BASE + 0x100)) = 0x88
#define LOCKREG(x) *((__IO uint32_t *)(GCR_BASE + 0x100)) = 0x00;

The error message is 29: error: invalid operands to binary * (have 'int' and 'volatile uint32_t * {aka volatile long unsigned int *}')

What can I do to fix this problem?

  • You cannot have multiline macros like UNLOCKREG. If this is copy-paste error, then please edit your question and correct it. While you are at it, also check the missing semicolon in int i = 0.
