Override Angular Material Typography Margins

1

It seems that applying a display class such as mat-display-1 also adds margin-bottom css to an element. When creating a custom theme I know how to override the size, line-height and weight but is there any way to control how much margin gets added?

  • Just had a look at the source and it doesn't seem possible. Made an issue here.

I am having similar problem.

So as a workaround you can do style="margin: 0"

OR

Use this css utility thing so you can just go like class="mat-headline m0"

This way you just overriding the margin, should work just fine.
