I want to prove that integration from -1 to 1 (1-x^2)p'n(x)p'n(x)dx = 2n(n+1)/(2n+1)
I substituted some recurrence relations but got stuck at evaluating the integral of x^2p'p .. how can i deal with the derivative in this case?
