I will start reading the book “Lectures on Topological Dynamics” by Ellis and therefore I want to know what the logical prerequisites for this subject of mathematics are in order to understand it well. Thanks

The prerequisites are essentially a solid knowledge of general topology, with emphasis on metric spaces and on group actions, together with some familiarity with plenty examples of dynamics (mostly with discrete time).
