How can I unhide files by extension in sublime text 3?
Sublime Text 3 has a mechanism for hiding files with a given extension; the default extension list is quite extensive, and generally contains stuff that I do want hidden.
However, now and then I'll be working on a project where one of the filenames happens to match something that is normally not something I want to see (for example, somefile.db
).
It appears that file_include_patterns
doesn't work the way I'd want it to, either – rather than doing the sensible thing of overriding a file_exclude_patterns
rule, it simply limits all files to ones that match those rules, which is definitely not what I want. And, because file_exclude_patterns
on a per-project basis is cumulative on top of the global settings, there doesn't seem to be a way to disable a specific pattern for a single project; rather, the only option appears to be to disable it globally and then specifically re-enable it on all of my other projects.
Is there any way to temporarily disable all file_exclude_patterns
rules, or to disable specific ones on a per-directory/per-project basis?
