Unable to send a message to a specific user/client when using Azure SignalR
I am using this article to build a chat application, https://github.com/aspnet/AzureSignalR-samples/tree/master/samples/ChatRoomLocal
I have got it working and sending messages to all users, however one method in the hub is causing me an issue:
Clients.User(userId).SendAsync("echo", name, message);
Calling this line of code in the hub does not do anything, I want to be able to send a message to one user only. I have added B2C authentication to the app, so i am able to connect using actual usernames.
Is there anything additional that i need to do in order to get sending to a single user working?
I am using Azure SignalR, v 1.0.3, in an ASP.NET Core MVC app
