Is there a way to add rss tag without manipulating the XML post creation?

0

I'm using SoapBox laravel package to create XML. How do i add rss tag in it.
https://github.com/SoapBox/laravel-formatter/issues/49

Rss documentation https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160589?hl=en says rss tag for namespace is needed for Google Merchant Center atrributes to work.

Also if i add tag in array, the formatter changes it to . How to add this?

Tried manipulating XML post creation which is not a good idea as there a many products.

array_push($xmlData, $params);

$formatter = Formatter::make($xmlData, Formatter::ARR);
$xml = $formatter->toXml('rss');

Expect the package to allow addition of rss tag with link directly

  • Added $xml = $formatter->toXml('rss version="2.0" xmlns:g="base.google.com/ns/1.0"'); Also had to fork the package & do some changes to allow ':'
