Adjust the height of List items according to the length of the contents?
I am using react material-ui, and found that when I use the List component, there is a serious performance degradation (more than about 1000 data items). So I have been using react-virtualized. For me, react-virtualized has shown excellent performance, but there is one problem.
My goal is to show a list of texts, but if the length of the text is too long, it invades the position of the bottom item. I would like to automatically adjust the height of the list items, if possible, so that they are even visible properly on the responsive web.
Below is my code. comes from react-virtualized, but comes from Material-ui. This is because I thought is not related to performance issues. If this is a problem, I wish you could mention it to me.
<AutoSizer disableHeight>
{({ width }) => (
<List
height={300}
width={width}
overscanRowCount={10}
rowCount={texts.length}
rowHeight={50} // I want to change this value depending on the length of the content.
rowRenderer={
({ index, key, style }) => {
return (
<div style={style} key={key} >
<ListItem divider={true} >
<ListItemText primary={texts[index]} />
</ListItem>
</div>
)
}
}
/>
)}
</AutoSizer>
