Apache 2.4 with htaccess and multiple htpasswd files
We are using Apache 2.4 on a Windows Server in combination with htaccess/htpasswd files.
In the htdocs directory we do have multiple sub directories where different people should get access. However, we also have multiple admin accounts which should have access in all those sub directories.
We don't like to have the same admin accounts in several htpasswd files (sub directories) as this is unmanageble.
Situation:
..htdocsPage1
-> AdminA, AdminB, UserA, UserB, UserC
..htdocsPage2
-> AdminA, AdminB, UserD, UserE
..htdocsPage3
-> AdminA, AdminB, UserF
Is this possible? I've encountered AuthnProviderAlias
but it seems that this can't be used in combination with htaccess files...
apache .htaccess .htpasswd
