2 way request response communication protocol between Java and C#
I've created an application that uses Java for a SSH server and C# for a REST API. The C# part should be able to fetch data(e.g. Connected clients) from the Java part in a request-response way. The Java part should be able to send events(e.g. When a client connects to the SSH server) to the C# part.
What is a suited protocol for this? I've looked at RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ but these message broker don't support request-response messages out of the box..
