Mixing
Selenium: 'package org.openqa.selenium does not exist'

Receiving two (2) error messages:
package org.openqa.selenium does not exist
package org.openqa.selenium.chrome does not exist
Here's what my program looks like: MyClass.java
package newPackage;
import org.openqa.selenium.WebDriver;
import org.openqa.selenium.chrome.ChromeDriver;
public class MyClass {
public static void main(String args) {
System.setProperty("webdriver.chrome.driver",
"/Users/Informatics/Downloads/chromedriver.exe");
WebDriver driver = new ChromeDriver();
driver.get("google.com");
driver.close();
}
}
p.s. I'm using the newest versions of Eclipse, Selenium, Chrome and Java.

- Right click and refresh your project.
- Download the selenium Standalone Jar and add it your BuildPath https://www.seleniumhq.org/download/
Also you are using the latest java, please download older version's of Java and try. Right click go to properties > java compiler and change the compliance JRE to 1.8

I tried all of the above. It didn't seem to do the trick, although they seem like they could be useful solutions in the future. I refreshed, but as it shows in the picture, I already have a Standaone Jar in my BuildPath.

- Right click and refresh your project.
- Download the selenium Standalone Jar and add it your BuildPath https://www.seleniumhq.org/download/
Also you are using the latest java, please download older version's of Java and try. Right click go to properties > java compiler and change the compliance JRE to 1.8
