Does NeDB allow the same store to be opened twice

0

Scenario: web server (Express) with NeDB as the database. Lots of code working just fine, as long as the requests don't overlap.

Then two requests come in at the same time, both from the same web page and both using the exact same NeDB store (but different parts of the data). And it just crashes for no obvious reason without completing either. The error is the usual:

Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, rename './xxx.db~' -> './xxx.db'

If so, what's the answer? It looks like a multithreading problem, but surely not? It's not easy to arrange to cache previously loaded datastores. Is it possible to ask NeDB?
