Simple reverse proxy with Traefik fails

0

I am trying to route requests from internet between two local servers but I get This site can’t be reached myDomain.xyz took too long to respond. when trying to access with browser.

This is a non-docker setup.

I have forwarded ports 80 and 443 on router to 8080 and 8443 on Traefik server.

I have also set TXT records for dnsChallenge and Traefik is listening without any errors.

My traefik.toml file:

logLevel = "DEBUG"
defaultEntryPoints = ["http", "https"]
InsecureSkipVerify = true

[entryPoints]
[entryPoints.http]
address = ":8080"
[entryPoints.http.redirect]
entryPoint = "https"
[entryPoints.https]
address = ":8443"
[entryPoints.https.tls]

[file]
watch = true

[backends]
[backends.backend1]
[backends.backend1.servers.server1]
url = "http://insert.local.ip.here:888"
weight = 1
[backends.backend1.servers.server2]
url = "http://insert.second.local.ip.here:888"
weight = 0
[backends.backend1.loadBalancer]
method = "drr"

[frontends]
[frontends.frontend1]
backend = "backend1"
passHostHeader = true
[frontends.frontend1.routes.test]
rule = "Host:myDomain.xyz"

[acme]
email = "my.email@email.com"
storage = "acme.json"
entryPoint = "https"
acmeLogging = true
[acme.dnsChallenge]
provider = "manual"

[[acme.domains]]
main = "myDomain.xyz"

What could be wrong?
